Itinerary

Day 1 : Jammu-Katra

Day 1 will be the drive to Katra from Jammu after your arrival from Delhi or any other destination. Katra is base point for Vaishno Devi Temple. Check in the hotel and relax for a while. For Vaishno Devi shrine, take entry tickets from the counter and start the 14 Km trek or you can take e-rickshaw, pony ride, palki or horse ride. The entire journey till Main Temple will pass across four main stops, Banganga, Ardhkuwari, Sanjhii Chat and finally the Bhawan before Bhairon Baba temple. Venerate in your style and then trek back to Katra which usually takes 3-4 hours depending upon speed.

Day 2 : Katra to Pahalgam

Rest in your hotel and get freshen up. Post breakfast, drive to Pahalgam-The Valley of Shepherds. It will take approx. 7 hours to reach the destination. Upon arrival, check in hotel and stay overnight.

Day 3 : Pahalgam Sightseeing

Post breakfast, begin your trip to Chandanwadi and visit Betaab Valley (named after Bollywood movie). If you are fond of adventure, join rafting in Lidder river. As per time balance, you can also plan to visit Aru Valley-a famous tourist spot for scenic meadows and shining mountains. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 4 : Pahalgam to Srinagar

Leave Pahalgam after a light breakfast and visit saffron fields while driving across dense pine forests enroute. The way of Srinagar will pass through rice fields, Awantipur ruins and finally after a 3.5 hrs drive, you will be at Srinagar. Check in your pre-booked houseboat and relax. In the evening, enjoy the Shikara Ride in Dal Lake.

Day 5 : Srinagar Sightseeing

Start the beautiful morning with visit to Shankaracharya Hill & then proceed to island of Char Chinar. Famous attractions are Mughal gardens, Nishat bagh, Shalimar Bagh & Chasme Shahi garden. Besides sightseeing, Special kahwa tea of Srinagar and popcorn. Dress up in Kashmiri dress for a lovely photogenic moment. Stay overnight at Srinagar hotel/houseboat.

Day 6 : Round Trip to Sonamarg from Srinagar

The 6th day of trip will be dedicated for Sonamarg- Golden meadows. On a scenic drive, there will be many beautiful stops before arriving at height of approx. 2700 metres. To watch snow, take a horse ride to visit Thajiwas Glacier where snow remains all around year. By evening, return to Srinagar & stay overnight.

Day 7 : Srinagar to Gulmarg

A drive towards Gulmarg will pass through World’s highest Golf Course of Srinagar surrounded by enchanting meadows. A Gondola cable car ride to Apharwat snow view point will be so delighting with views of Khilanmarg. In the free time enjoy the famous snow activities at Gulmarg as Snow-boarding, Igloo café stay, skiing or any other. This can be best day of your tour with unparallel beauty all around. Return back to Gulmarg base and stay overnight.

Day 8 : Gulmarg to Srinagar

Drive back to Srinagar to catch you ahead schedule of return to home by flight or car. There is so much security measures before arrival at Srinagar Airport, so it is advisable t be on time.
