Rajasthan Tour Itinerary

From Delhi, in a taxi, you will drive to Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan. After checking into your hotel, rest for a while. In the evening go to Laxminarayan Temple (Birla Mandir) which is a beautiful marble temple. Additionally, enjoy local culture at Chokhi Dhani, an ethnic village resort where one can enjoy Rajasthani food along with folk performances. Return to the hotel for overnight stay.
Get breakfast at your hotel before visiting various sites in Jaipur for an entire day. The first stop is Amber Fort, which has been praised as the best example of Rajput architecture as it features splendid courtyards and mirror work. Then visit Jal Mahal a beautiful palace situated in the middle of Man Sagar Lake perfect for photography. Next visit City Palace the home of the royal family and see the museum having royal artifacts. Don’t miss Jantar Mantar an astronomical observatory having 19 architectural astronomical instruments. End the day at Hawa Mahal the Palace of Winds and then back to your hotel for overnight stay.
After having breakfast in Jaipur leave for Bikaner. This city is famous for its forts and camel breeding farm. On the route you will visit National Research Centre on Camel and learn about camel breeding and camel riding. Upon arrival in Bikaner check in to your hotel. Later visit Junagarh Fort which has a complex of palaces, temples and pavilions. You will also explore Anup Mahal, Gaj Mandir, and Sheesh Mahal. In the evening take a walk in local markets and back to hotel for overnight stay.
Before leaving Bikaner you will be visiting Lalgarh Palace. This is a beautiful red sandstone palace with a mix of Mughal and Rajput architecture. Then your journey will continue to Jaisalmer. This city is known as the Golden City for its yellow sandstone architecture. Visit War Museum en route to know about Indian Army and its history and bravery. Upon arrival in Jaisalmer check in to your hotel and In the evening you can explore local markets or just relax.
After breakfast go for a full day local sightseeing of Jaisalmer. Visit Jaisalmer Fort which is a UNESCO World Heritage site and one of the largest preserved fort city. From there you will visit Patwon-ki-Haveli, Salim Singh-ki-Haveli and Nathmal-ki-Haveli to See the intricate carvings of Rajasthani architecture. In the afternoon visit Gadisar Lake for a boat ride. In the evening go to Sam Sand Dunes for camel safari, watch sunset and cultural show of Rajasthani music and dance.
First have Breakfast at hotel and then check out from Jaisalmer Hotel. Start your journey to Jodhpur the blue city and is known for its blue painted house and forts. After arriving in Jodhpur check in to your hotel and relax. In the afternoon visit local markets for handicrafts, textiles and spices. In the evening relax at hotel or walk around old city to see the blue houses.
Have breakfast at the hotel and then visit Jodhpur’s landmarks. Visit Mehrangarh Fort one of the largest forts in India and get the panoramic view. Visit the palaces inside like Moti Mahal and Phool Mahal with frescoes and artifacts. Visit Jaswant Thada a white marble cenotaph built in memory of Maharaja Jaswant Singh II. After the tour start your journey to Mount Abu, Rajasthan’s only hill station. On arrival check in to your hotel and visit the sunset point to see the sunset.
Today you will be visiting only hill station of Rajasthan, Mount Abu. Start by visiting Dilwara Jain Temples famous for marble carvings. Then visit Nakki Lake for a peaceful boat ride. Visit Guru Shikhar the highest point of Mount Abu for the views. Later visit local markets or Honeymoon Point to see the sunset.
After breakfast check out and drive to Udaipur, the City of Lakes. On arrival check in to your hotel and relax. In the evening enjoy a boat ride on Lake Pichola and see the surrounding palaces and temples. See the City Palace from the water and watch the sunset over the lake. It will be a magical atmosphere all around.
After having Breakfast in the Udaipur hotel you will go on a full day sightseeing of Udaipur. Visit Maharana Pratap Memorial at Moti Magri for the view of Fateh Sagar Lake. Next you will explore Saheliyon-Ki-Bari, a beautiful garden with fountains and marble elephants. Then visit Bhartiya Lok Kala Museum for folk art, paintings and costumes. You will continue to City Palace which is located on lake panchola and has a museum of royal artifacts. Conclude your day with evening stroll around the lake and then back to hotel.
After having breakfast check out and drive to Ajmer, a city of great spiritual significance. Visit Ajmer Sharif Dargah, a Sufi shrine which attracts pilgrims from all over the world. Then drive to Pushkar, famous for Brahma Temple and Pushkar Lake. Take a holy dip in the lake and see Pushkar Bazaar for local handicrafts.
